Akili AI Guide
Akili is Kuata's AI assistant, available exclusively on the Pro plan. It is powered by Amazon Bedrock (Claude Sonnet 4.6) and lets you control your wallet through natural language — in the app's chat interface.
Note: Akili AI is a Pro-only feature. To unlock it, upgrade to Pro in Settings → Subscription. |
3.1 Getting Started with Akili
Open the Akili tab from the navigation bar. Type naturally — you do not need to learn special commands. Akili understands intent in multiple languages.
Example openers:
• "How much have I spent this month?"
• "Send 10,000 to Maria"
• "Pay my electricity bill"
• "Was this transfer receipt legitimate?"
• "Book me an appointment at the vehicle licensing office"
3.2 Payments and Transfers via Chat

3.5 Bookings via Akili
In supported markets, Akili connects to booking systems for:

Akili presents available slots and lets you confirm a booking directly in the chat. A confirmation with a reference number is added to your Documents.
3.6 Receipt and Transfer Fraud Detection
When you receive a payment receipt or upload one to Akili, Kuata runs a three-signal fraud analysis:

Akili presents a verdict (Authentic / Suspicious / Unable to verify) with a plain-language explanation. If a receipt is flagged as suspicious, the associated transaction is held for manual review and you receive an in-app alert.

3.7 Behavioural Fraud Protection
Akili continuously learns your normal transaction patterns — timing, amounts, recipient types, and frequency. When it detects behaviour that deviates significantly from your baseline, it:
• Sends you an in-app alert before the transaction completes
• Asks you to confirm your intent with an additional biometric check
• Flags the transaction for review if the pattern matches known fraud signatures
Your behavioural model is stored only on Kuata's secure infrastructure and is never shared with third parties.

3.9 Frequently Asked Questions
Can Akili send money without my confirmation?
No. Akili always presents a payment summary and requires your explicit tap to proceed. Biometric or PIN confirmation is required for transfers above your account's low-risk threshold.
Does Akili work offline?
Akili requires an internet connection. Offline mode supports document viewing and QR verification only.
What languages does Akili support?
Akili understands queries in English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Arabic, with additional languages being added on a market-by-market basis.
Why did Akili flag a legitimate receipt?
The three-signal detection occasionally produces false positives for unusual but legitimate receipts (e.g., handwritten receipts, very old printer formats). Use the This is legitimate option to report and we will review within 24 hours.
